Kumeu wine and cheese afternoon
Kumeu is the historic heart of winemaking in New Zealand. This afternoon tour visits 3 locally owned vineyards for wine tasting and includes a delicious vineyard platter at our final winery. We take care of the driving so you can relax and enjoy the wines.
Even if you have never done a wine tour or been wine tasting before our guides make it a relaxed and enjoyable experience for a great afternoon out.
Our first stop is a wine tasting at Coopers Creek vineyard which offers outstanding wines from New Zealand’s best regions. Coopers Creek produce a wide variety of wines and are adventurous in their choice of grapes and blends.
Next we visit the famous Hunting Lodge winery, steeped in history it offers a great range of locally produced wines.
Your final wine tasting is at West Brook Winery which will also include a fantastic vineyard platter. The wines reflect true varietal character and their unique regional origins. Without exception they are premium quality and have won numerous awards. The cheeses and meats* on the vineyard platter are selected to match the Westbrook wines and you have time to soak in the scenery here while you try both.
