Three days in Auckland gives you time to explore the city, nature, food and wine and also to get out of the city on a day trip to Hobbiton and Waitomo caves. Here’s our recommended tours for a varied three day itinerary in Auckland.
Day 1
Join our ‘Best of Both Worlds‘ tour to have a great introduction to Auckland City in the morning, followed by a relaxed afternoon in the stunning nature of the rainforest and West Coast black sand beach at Piha. Your guide will share lots of information about Auckland and New Zealand and can give you tips on where to go that evening as well.
Day 2
Our recommendation for day 2 is to join our day tour out of the city to visit the iconic Hobbiton and Waitomo Caves. This tour goes through beautiful New Zealand scenery and includes a guided tour of both Hobbiton and Waitomo glow worm caves. Lunch at the Party Marquee at Hobbiton is also included in the tour.
Day 3
Have a relaxed start to the day and join us for lunch and an afternoon of wine and nature on our ‘Auckland Wine Country and Lunch‘ tour. We visit 3 locally owned wineries, have a fabulous lunch at one of them and we also visit the famous Muriwai beach during the afternoon. A great way to end your 3 days with us.
